Now that I have decided to base my magazine on the concept of looking at how the media has influenced us as a society, I now need to develope a story for this months publcation.

I can’t count the amount of different magazine and newspappers i have read, I’ve never before now relised just how many there are, I was overwhelmed.  As I sat there reading, there was one topic that the media seems to publicize more than most and that was the idea of the perfect image.

It talked about celebrities and the way they looked, more so in a bad way rather than good.  The articles were all the same focusing on the bad points about there bodies.  Is this what the media has come to? putting people down about the way they look, to the point where we are all neurotic about our appearence.

Hi my name is megan and im very new to bloging, so your going to have to bare with me. The reason why im only now getting into it, is because im doing an assiment for uni. Part of my assesment is to design an magazine about suriving the 21st Centuary, easy right! there are plenty of topic to discuss, that’s what I thought!

It took me a while but I finally found a topic that i was passionate about. I decided to base my magazine on the media, looking at how we are influenced as a society and to what extent the effects of this will have on us in the future. Can we survive the 21st Centuary thanks to the media?
